Coffee. I'm not sure sure we can even really call it a beverage. I mean, it is a beverage, technically. But it's so much more than that. It's an accessory really...an accessory of the moment. When I wake on a crisp fall morning, slide my feet into wool-lined slippers and head downstairs to make breakfast for the kids, it's coffee. That's the reward. That's the accompaniment to a good song played at volume 25, the chenille blanket over my legs, and cornbread warming in the oven. In the end folks, it's coffee. And at it's best, Stumptown.
