This morning, I was inspired to walk away from my computer, throw on a scarf and step outside...touch the frozen leaves and blades of grass under my feet and listen to the trees. I love Headstrom's description of the transition to winter because each year that passes, I notice these small details less and forget to take the time to stop and observe...breathe. It's nice to be reminded of these quiet, beautiful moments every once and while...

One night I came upstairs, flicked on the bathroom light and found these two extra people in my bed. Normally, I would carry them back to their own beds but not on this particular night. The way the light was falling across their sweet faces, I had to run back to get my camera. 

Even though they weren't part of "the plan" so soon after we married, I can't imagine my life without these two...I'm happy when they are happy, I'm sad when they are...I can't get enough of their smiles, giggles and peaceful sleeping faces.
